CNTR ATK! started with the two of us out here on the West Coast. We’ve both been into streetwear for over 15 years, long before it became what it is now. We grew up paying attention to the details, how things fit, how graphics felt, what actually made a piece worth wearing. Back then, it felt more personal.

Over time, we watched that change. A lot of it started feeling forced, overly hyped, and built around resell instead of real connection. It stopped being about what people genuinely liked and started leaning more toward what would sell the fastest. That never really sat right with us.

At the same time, we found ourselves getting deeper into football culture. Not just watching the game, but getting into collecting kits. Tracking down older jerseys, finding pieces from different eras, and learning the stories behind them. The history, the design, the feeling of finding something you weren’t supposed to come across easily. That process of searching and discovering became a big part of what inspired us.

CNTR ATK! came from that overlap. It’s shaped by our background in streetwear, but also by the appreciation we built for football culture and everything around it. We didn’t want to make something loud just for attention and we definitely didn’t want to make anything that felt generic or forced.

Everything we put out is something we would actually wear ourselves. If it doesn’t feel right to us, we don’t make it. It’s as simple as that.
